The Macleay Hotel, Elizabeth Bay
Mainland Building Solutions were contracted to replace all existing windows to The Macleay Hotel and Sydney Serviced Apartments which were in a state of disrepair. The building is 9 stories high and comprises 126 apartments. The existing windows were removed and replaced with new 25 micron clear anodised aluminium windows supplied by Architectural Window Systems.
All associated head and sill flashings were installed to meet BCA requirements. Mainland Building Solutions liased with building management to minimise disruptions to the operation of the hotel throughout the course of the project.
