50 Roslyn Gardens Elizabeth bay was experiencing severe spalled concrete, deteriorating facade coatings, existing balustrades to all balconies were dilapidated beyond repair.
Over 2000 litres of concrete spalling repairs conducted to all external masonry elements of the building prior to full facade coatings being applied. To gain access to the exterior of the multi storey dwelling, a complex access system was installed by Mainland Building Solutions' scaffolders.
The Sika Monotop repair system was used in carrying out all concrete spalling repairs, followed by a 3 coat Dulux elastomeric façade membrane system. Mainland Building Solutions demolished all existing balcony balustrades and custom made new steel balustrades to suit the design of the client. Prior to installation all balcony balustrades were painted with a specified coating.
